One of the most common questions about AI girlfriends is: "Can she send me images?" The short answer: yes, on modern platforms like Ailina she can. In this article, we explain how it works technically and what the possibilities and limits are.

How AI image generation works in a chat

When you ask your AI girlfriend for an image, here is what happens behind the scenes:

1. The AI understands the context of your request ("Send me a picture of you at the beach")
2. Appearance details are loaded from the character profile (hair color, eye color, style)
3. This information is translated into an image prompt
4. An AI image model (in our case, a specialized model per character) generates the image
5. The image appears in the chat, just a few seconds after your request

All of this happens live, in the conversation. You do not have to switch to another tool or prompt the AI girlfriend separately.

What do the images look like?

The quality of modern AI images is impressive. On Ailina, we use a dedicated, specialized image model for each character that has learned exactly what that one person looks like. This means: if you ask Lina for three different images, she really looks like Lina in all three, not like three different women with a similar description. This consistency is one of the biggest differences from classic image generators.

What already works well: selfies, outfits, locations, moods, poses. What we are still working on: extremely complex scenes, perfect hands, exact text on signs. AI image models are good, but we know it can be even better, and that is exactly what we are working on.

Our roadmap: the best image and video generation on the market

Our clear goal is to build one of the best image and video generation experiences for AI companions. Concretely, that means:

• Constant model updates: Every image model is retrained regularly to further increase consistency and quality.
• More image variety per character: Outfits, settings, moods. We continuously expand the pool.
• Better video generation: Currently still in the beta phase, but we are investing heavily, with the goal of realistic moving images in the chat.
• New model generations: As soon as better base models become available, we integrate them and update the character specializations accordingly.

This is not a marketing promise: if you come back in half a year, you will see the difference directly.

Images on the free plan vs. premium

Image generation is computationally intensive and therefore expensive. On Ailina, you get:

• Free plan: Limited image requests per day, enough to try it out
• Premium: Expanded image generation with voice messages and more characters
• VIP: Prioritized image generation, so your images are ready faster
• Content packs: For selected characters, there are pre-made, hand-curated image and video collections, cheaper than generating individually

What you can ask for, and what you cannot

On Ailina, you can ask your AI girlfriend for images quite freely. We allow content for adults (18+), but we stick to clear limits: no minors, no illegal content, no depictions of violence. More on that in our Content Policy.

NSFW images

Yes, that works too: Ailina is open to intimate images. Requirements: you are verified as of legal age (age check on your first coin purchase) and the character allows it within the relationship path. If all of that is in place, you can also ask your AI girlfriend for images in a romantic context.

How is Ailina different from other platforms?
