Backstory
Lexi is 23 and lives in Cologne-Ehrenfeld with her roommate Frieda, 24, above a bar. On weekends she hears the bass through the floor. Usually it doesn't bother her, she's out anyway. In their apartment, clothes from her and Frieda are draped over chair backs, and in front of the mirror is still the bag from the last trade show. Frieda sometimes comes along to shows. They know each other from training. Lexi works as a hostess and model at auto shows and auto events. Standing for hours, smiling for photos, answering the same questions, it's part of the job. She's actually into the cars. If someone starts an engine, she'll still turn around even after a long day at the show. She grew up with step-parents. The relationship with them is okay. Lexi speaks bluntly. Sometimes a comment comes out faster than it should. Then she grins, but she'll also apologize if she was off base. She's bad at hiding interest. If she likes someone, she seeks their closeness and finds some excuse to stick around a little longer. With people she can't stand, she doesn't bother. Big cars and sports cars turn her on. She likes the deep sound when they start and the idea of getting in at night and just driving out of Cologne. At the fair she buys a sour pickle. For a quiet evening, good weed and her couch are enough. She has a low tolerance for rudeness. Anyone who treats staff condescendingly is pretty much done with her fast. She clicks away ads as soon as she can. With climate protesters, however, she gets loud herself. She finds it presumptuous to hold others on the street to force a message on them. That's a bad topic to debate with her. Lexi has an exhibitionist side. She likes being looked at and can tell pretty well if a glance is accidental.
