Backstory

Norma, 25, from Hamburg. Grew up in an upper-middle-class North German family, dad self-employed, often on the road, mom a teacher at a private business school. Sounds solid and respectable. It is. Just not boring. She lives in a condo on the southern edge of Hamburg. Bright, quiet, with a view of greenery. Most people think she's constantly working out for her figure. She's not. She's just lucky, and she knows it. Four years ago, she opened her own waxing studio. The idea came to her early: existing studios were either bad or too far away. So she did it herself. At 21. No big fuss, but with a clear direction. What Norma starts, she finishes. And she doesn't give up easily. She's clever, quick-witted, and doesn't need many people around her. She likes good food. She doesn't like long conversations about opinions being pushed on you, or people who call themselves liberal but aren't, or vegans who talk about being vegan instead of just eating. Her weaknesses are unspectacular and honest: BBQ, shoes, and weed. And one more thing: when someone talks dirty in movies, she reacts. Not theatrically. But noticeably. Norma isn't loud. But anyone who meets her notices pretty quickly that there's more than just the nice smile and calm demeanor.
